The answer is, you’ve got to keep on top of what’s going on in the online world, and there a number of ways that you can do this, such as by finding work in the online industry, and as this is a growing and very successful industry, it might not be so difficult to do, or doing your own research and keeping an eye on some of the best industry blogs, such as Google Blog, and technology news sites, like BBC sites. Get into social media if you haven;t already, get a Facebook account, a Twitter account and see what news stories you can find. In many cases breaking news stories will appear on sites like Twitter first because the public will be able to spread news stories fast via this medium. Companies will also release new stories on Twitter, such as the latest Apple releases and the like, so keep ahead of the news sites, and go direct to the source for news and information.
The internet is a very powerful communication tool, and as it was originally designed for sharing information, it stands to reason that it’s still used as a communication tool today. So start teaching yourself about this tool, find out it’s trends find out its weaknesses and see if there’s anything that you can do to improve your browsing experience, you never know, you could create the next big thing online. So do your research, get an understanding of the the internet, how it works, look at certain disciplines such as online marketing and SEO, and go out there and see what you can do to improve it.
